A Bit of Our Story
We have lived in relatively exceptional luxury compared to most of the US and the world at large. Yet even within this lifestyle, and possibly even because of it, at times we have found ourselves to have hard times relationally with our families, have hard times emotionally - fighting depression, and even have hard times financially.
We have blind spots - including pride; not so much the overt 'you're a real jerk' type pride, but the self-righteous, hidden kind; the kind that tells you you’ve got it all figured out and don’t need any help.
God works in us to reconcile broken relationships and to become people that we like a whole lot better than the people we were before the interruption that triggered the transformations in our lives.

We focus now on dependence on God, on His provision, and on His call to us to try to live a life of kindness, vulnerability & reconciliation.
But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.” - 2nd Corinthians 12:9
Our Purpose
VISION: That you will depend on the comfort of God & the support of others who have come out of pain.
MISSION: To provide resources & community that show the hope of God to fight despair.
VALUES:
Dependence: We count on God to provide.
Wisdom: God strengthens us through prayer & the study of his Bible.
Reconciliation: Jesus values the mending of broken relationships.
Community: God provides people in our lives to support us. "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken” (Ecclesiastes 4:12).
